Police profiling and harassment complaints!

City police look to strengthen ties with minority community.

The Stamford Police Department has agreed to meet regularly with the Stamford chapter of the NAACP to keep the lines of communication open with the city’s minority population.

Two concerns were addressed: first, the mistreatment of black residents by local police and second, how to move towards developing a workable and harmonious relationship between the black community and the Stamford police.
