As president of the Stamford NAACP, I welcome you to our new website.

Our main focus this year is to move this organization towards what we encourage is in our theme “New Beginning - Our Children Their Education.”  Properly educating our children does not only happen in the classroom, it starts with all of us collectively.

As the NAACP celebrates across the nation its 100th year of existence as the nations oldest civil rights organization, remain empowered and committed toward power, justice, freedom and voting.  I would like to see the Stamford NAACP work together with other organizations, churches and community leaders in an effort to address the needs of our children and the community.  We will aggressively focus on other important issues such as affordable housing law enforcement issues and voter registration to name a few.

It is our hope and prayer that the Stamford NAACP will become partners with the Stamford Board of Education to talk about the expectations and accountability of the minority students.

Join us in strengthening our organization for the purpose of servicing our community.
